A few good questions

Before you
get started.

More detail in How it works.

Can I use my existing Google Sheet?

New properties get a managed Google Sheet. Receipt Janitor doesn’t map expenses into arbitrary workbook layouts. Previously connected property Sheets remain available where supported by your account.

What if a scanned detail is wrong?

Check and edit the details before saving. Receipt reading can make mistakes; your review is part of the process.

When does an expense become a Google record?

A draft can be kept while you work. Final Save files the expense in the property’s Sheet and moves any attached receipt to its Drive folder. Check that the save succeeds.

Can I enter an expense without a receipt?

Yes. You can enter the details manually. A manual entry doesn’t create an original receipt or determine whether the expense is deductible.

Do I need to connect my bank?

No bank connection is required. Receipt Janitor captures and organizes expenses; it doesn’t reconcile accounts, collect rent, or prepare your tax return.

Give the next receipt a place to go.

Less hunting.
More getting on with it.
